Coast to Coast Fulfillment, Inc. Completes First Phase of Expansion Plans

WEST GREENWICH, RI -- Coast to Coast Fulfillment, Inc., one of the leading product fulfillment houses in the northeast United States, is doubling the size of its warehousing and order-processing center in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Despite a challenging economic environment, Coast to Coast's sales have jumped 39% since 2010. In March 2012, Coast to Coast purchased 14.5 acres of undeveloped land adjacent to its facility at 773 Victory Highway, completing a 20-acre compound. "We're excited to have just completed Phase 1 of expansion, with an 8,000-square-foot addition to the front of the facility," said Coast to Coast president, Hermond Ghazarian." "This area will be dedicated to the daily processing of fashion jewelry orders destined for thousands of retail chain stores on behalf of our clients."

According to Client Services Manager Randy Lundquist, "We have been expanding so rapidly that we have had to rent facilities as far as 10 miles away to house our client's inventory. With the completion of Phase 2, we will be able to more efficiently handle all of our clients' needs under one roof."

Phase 2 of the expansion is underway, adding another 29,000 square feet to the back of the current structure, scheduled for completion before year-end. This will include a new warehouse, a central staging area for outbound freight, commercial loading docks, and new step-van entrance.

Other highlights of the expansion include an enlarged and upgraded customer-service department, a renovated data-processing center, more office space, a new employee cafeteria and other amenities.

Coast to Coast specializes in product fulfillment. This includes the turnkey management of "back-room" operations on behalf of its clients. Such operations include third-party logistics (3PL) management, which includes supply-chain management, warehousing, inventory control, order processing, customer service, and billing services for business to business (B2) and business to consumer (B2C) clients.
